Coming soon to americansandbox.com will be an online gallery of selected art created by children, certain to be the largest refrigerator door in the world!
It's purpose is not only to celebrate the creativity of childhood, but also to offer a refreshing view of how young and free imaginations see the world, which may serve as inspiration for us all.
It is also our hope that this online gallery may inspire the future hosting of local exhibits or art events sponsored by American Sandbox, and even prints and other products from which proceeds and a portion of all profits will benefit children in need all around the world.
Details will be coming soon. In the meantime you may consider uploading your child's works for consideration at our Facebook fan page.*
*Please note that by submitting your works to us you consent to allow American Sandbox to use it for our own express purposes without obligation.
- Parent's Tip: How do you get a digital version of your child's art? If you have a home scanner large enough, it is best to scan it as a jpg or png at 300 dpi to preserve the most detail. If larger, you can have a copy or print shop do the same. Maybe even Walmart or Sam's. For relieved works such as paintings, which would be hard to scan, you may try taking a photo of it outside or in very bright light. Many photo catalog applications allow you ways to adjust and edit your final picture to your liking.
